Relayer is the seventh studio album by the English progressive rock band Yes, released in November 1974 by Atlantic Records. After keyboardist Rick Wakeman left the group in May 1974 over disagreements with the band's direction, Yes entered rehearsals as a four-piece at bassist Chris Squire's home in Virginia Water, Surrey. During this period, they auditioned several keyboardists including Vangelis before choosing Swiss musician Patrick Moraz who incorporates elements of funk and jazz fusion on the. my second favourite yes album (83/100) ****stars
Gates of Delerium changed my life and was the first "Musical Trip" that I ever experienced as I hear the album at age 13 2 years after it was released. Totally mind bending and even today wayyyyy ahead of the curve. The guitar meshed with electronic synthesizers near the final breakdowns are just incredible. Always been a massive YES fan.

It loses to Close To The Edge but "Soon" (a excerpt from The Gates Of Delirium) is one of the greatest things in history of music. My father once said it's like you're standing on the top of mount everest and looking on whole earth at once, of course at soon. (lol I know it's not possible)
