This continues the emo feel and to a certain extent the emo sound of Mineral. Of course the lyrics/vocals carry over (same lead singer as Mineral). The gut-wrenching guitars wash over bass and drums and there's the same something here that made Mineral so unique. I can't explain it. Maybe it's just me. But at the risk of sounding melodramatic, this is the epitome of true emo: pop and rock and roll awash with that mid and late 90s sound that found a way to be raw and polished simultaneously, the feeling that made emo a unique and beautiful thing that no cliche can ruin.
