50,000 Fall Fans Can't Be Wrong subtitled 39 Golden Greats is a greatest hits album by English post-punk band the Fall, released in 2004 by record label Sanctuary. 50,000 is the group's first career-spanning compilation album, with a selection of songs from the 1978 EP Bingo-Master's Break-Out up to the 2003 album The Real New Fall LP Formerly Country on the Click. The selection of songs includes both singles and album highlights. Journalist and author, Daryl Easlea compiled the album and wrote. Leader Mark E. Smith, and whoever he decided was the Fall at the moment, have been on more labels than almost anybody. Over 24 years they've changed from loud and ramshackle to slick and pop and then back to loud and ramshackle again, with a bunch of stylistic changes in between. Album 2004 39 Songs. The Fall's 'This Nation's Saving Grace', a favorite of Fall fans and critics alike, would be a good selection from the myriad of studio albums available. The album, as a whole, is quite interesting to listen to, and includes some rather good tracks that aren't on '50,000 Fall Fans Can't Be Wrong', such as Bombast, L. and My New House. For even more Fall, 'The Complete Peel Sessions', though expensive, is a comprehensive 6-CD box set spanning from 1978-2004. This superb 2-CD set features 39 'Golden Greats' from The Fall recorded for various labels between 1978 & 2003. The Fall - 50,000 Fall Fans Cant Be Wrong 39 Golden Greats Album. Artist: The Fall. While this album isn't necessarily a mu 50,000 Fall Fans Can't Be Wrong stands as an introduction to the long and frequently brilliant career of the Fall. It's also the first career-spanning collection in the band's 25-year history. Beginning with 1978's Repetition-B-side of their first single, Bingo-Master's Break-Out, and something of a Fall manifesto-and ending with Green Eyed Loco-Man-itself the opening to 2003's return to form, Country on the Click-these 39 tracks provide a suitably messy summary of the past quarte.
