The Beatles 1 Video Collection is Out Now. At Twickenham Film Studios, a little over three weeks after the single was recorded, The Beatles made three separate promo films for 'We Can Work It Out'. We Can Work It Out is a song by the English rock band the Beatles, written by Paul McCartney and John Lennon. It was first issued as a double A-side single with Day Tripper in December 1965. In a four-hour session they rehearsed and then recorded just two takes of the rhythm track.
