Almighty - Soul Destruction 1991. To favorites 1 Download album. Listen album. Hard Rock. None more so than their sophomore effort Soul Destruction, which repeated virtually all the moves of their debut, including under-developed songs and a noticeably amateurish production from ex-Duran Duran guitarist Andy Taylor. CD Album. Soul free ghetto sister, shakin' loose On a psycho holiday Wilderness angel She's comes to blow my cares away You can't resist temptation If you do then life's a bore State of love situation I'm the one who knows the score. Searching for some Lucy take me in the sky Spirit of her love gonna take me high. Soul Destruction is the second studio album third overall released by Scottish heavy metal band The Almighty. It was released by Polydor Records in the United Kingdom in 1991. According to front-man Ricky Warwick, the album's songs centered on four subjects: It was The Almighty's last album with founding guitarist Tantrum who would be replaced by Alice Cooper guitarist Pete Friesen before the recording of their next album, Powertrippin'. Upon release the album peaked at number 22 on the British. 1991's Soul Destruction is album number two from Scottish hard rockers The Almighty. Like many bands to emerge at the end of the hair metal scene, The Almighty never really got the attention they deserved, which is a shame when you consider just how good an album like Soul Destruction really is. The Almighty might have been loosely tied to the Hollywood hair metal era, but their sound has as much in common with Motorhead and the Cult as it does Bang Tango and Guns n' Roses. If you're into the late 80's and early 90's pre-grunge hard rock sound, Soul Destruction is sure to please. This is the best kind of grab a beer and crank up the volume rock & roll. Almighty USA.
