The 'RE' in the catalog number on the 'B' side indicates this is a revised pressing of the original, and slightly rarer. The cover remains the same, but the 'B' side listings have been switched, with 'A Long Vacation' being the first track on side B instead of 'Sweeter Than You'. This is part of a three record extended play set of tunes from the Imperial album 'Songs By Ricky'.

For the LP, the Burnettes also brought in You're So Fine, Don't Leave Me, A Long Vacation, and I've Been Thinkin', while Knight's additional tracks were You'll Never Know What You're Missin' and One Minute to One. The result was a consistent record by a writing and performing team at the peak of its powers, everyone contributing to an overall sound that was a rhythmic, smooth development on the kind of raw rockabilly invented in Memphis by the original artists at Sun Records. Although 'Don't Leave Me' fairly rocks, the rest of this extended play record is pretty tame. 'That's All' is a lovely tune, but, let's face it, Ozzie Nelson could have recorded it years ago. 'A Long Vacation' is harmless pop music, as 'Sweeter Than You' is a harmless ballad. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. This would follow Rick all through the sixties. Never totally 'leaving' rock and roll, much of Nelson's material is safe, easy listening music. He always turned out good product (his double-sided hit 'Travelin' Man' and 'Hello Mary Lou'), but any classic rock and roll was gone, until Nelson found himself, along with thousands of other acts, essentially made irrelevant by the four lads from Liverpool.

It's a bit sad that not so long ago, before this ep came out, Rick had recorded a genuine rock and roll classic, 'Believe What You Say' with the guitar legend James Burton. Burton would continue with Nelson through the sixties, his guitar licks adding much style to songs like 'Fools Rush In', 'The Nearness of You'. At some point, Burton became Elvis Presley's touring guitarist.
