Lee recorded My Favourite Headache during a time when Rushs future was uncertain. The band was in the midst of what would be a five-year break from the road following the tragic deaths of Neil Pearts daughter and wife in 1997 and 1998, respectively. Lee was technically the last member of the band to release a solo project, with guitarist Alex Lifeson putting out his only solo album, Victor, in 1996 and Peart releasing Burning for Buddy, a two-volume Buddy Rich tribute that he produced, in 1994 and 97. Lee has made cameos with various other artists over the years, including one on the McKen. Your Rating. Overview . Album 2000 11 Songs. This album is getting a vinyl release, I saw a preview for it at the new Rush movie (Cinema Strangiato) last week.

funny. mine arrived today and it says 5000 not 2500Edit: explanation from an RSD employee: "The number listed on our site -The US website—is the number released in the US. All the records are pressed at the same time, regardless of which country they’re being sent to, and the total worldwide run number may be what is put on the sticker."
Centrizius
Seems like the vinyl release is pressed at United. See https://youtu.be/c-tiWNklOJo where the records are coming from boxes with URP stickers on them. So not holding my breath sound quality wise. I hope there's a separate European pressing.
Malahelm
mine is already shipped and should arrive on nov 29th. :)

It's true, 2500 units will be pressed. See here: https://recordstoreday.com/SpecialRelease/11791

baehr52 This album is getting a vinyl release, I saw a preview for it at the new Rush movie (Cinema Strangiato) last week. I hope this is true, because that would make me a very happy guy. I love this record, but I forget about it just because I am a vinyl record guy, and almost never listen to CDs, except for when I am driving.
godlike
Great album. To say it sounds very different from Rush is grossly uninformed. Both are heavy projects.Geddy's being perhaps a Alternative Rock version of Rush.Rush were never fully immersed into one style over the decades.Heavy Metal,Prog Metal in the 70's,and New Wave influenced Prog Rock in the 80's,with Alternative Rock definitely influencing their 90's output. The band got heavier again towards the end,and we were left with one last great album on the Metal label Roadrunner.Hopefully they'll change their mind in the future and at least record.
happy light
This release from Rush frontman Geddy Lee is very different from the Rush releases. You can really see that Rush is the result of several people working towards a common goal. The impression that Rush gives is that its mostly Geddy Lee-when it really isn't. Personally I didn't find this album very satisfying-the music didn't have the 'edge of the seat' feel I associate with good rock music-it was more like a musical diary with compositions that often sounded stilted, mechanical and dry-not the stuff that good rock music is made of. Check it out-its worth it if you have listened to and liked Rush music at any time.
