Nightbird is the eleventh full-length studio album by the British synthpop band Erasure. Produced by Erasure, it was released on 24 January 2005 by Mute Records in the UK and on 25 January 2005 in the U. Despite the mixed critical reception, many longtime fans of the band hailed it as a return to the sound and feel of classic Erasure albums like Wonderland and Chorus. Singer Andy. Starting soft and staying there, Nightbird takes more than a couple listens to pay real dividends, but that Erasure are revitalized is evident first time through. Gone is the trying-too-hard surface-pop of Cowboy and Other People's Songs and back is the intimate, introspective, and great lyrical moments of the ballads scattered among the duo's best albums. Erasure return, bigger and brighter than ever, with a spanking new album: Nightbird. Sparkling with odes to space-age romance, it is sure to win them legions of new fans, whilst simultaneously delighting those who appreciated them during the heady, codpiece-wearing days of the '80s. Dance-pop darling Andy Bell and technical innovator Vince Clarke are convinced that this is their best work yet, and are understandably excited. The album is a heartwarming torrent of electro-pop sweetness, making the listener smile as opposed to puke, a delicate balance. This may stand out as one of their strongest releases to date. And, I liked Loveboat, & Cowboy, holds too many personal meanings to list here. Anyhow, it harkens back to some of sonic soundscapes of 1995's Erasure, which is kind of ironic, as Vince solely used software in the arrangement and recording of this album. This is of course, a deviation from his standard analog synth roots. Even still the music and especially Andy's vocals come across even more soulful than ever. I really believe that his delivery is what makes or breaks many an Erasu. Erasure 24-01-2005. 총 시간:43 min. No Doubt. Let's Take One More Rocket to the Moon
