Radek about the album: after Tom Maggio's departure from the project in April 2016 and my decision to withdraw from music I decided to publish this material in its unfinished form. It is however quite close to how it would sound in the final version. It consists of only my parts as Tom didn't partake in writing this material. Please keep in mind that it's a work in progress- the sound might be occasionally uneven and not balanced, there might be rapid cuts and intermissions that were all to be polished in the final sessions which never took place.
Although dipped heavily in subject matters such as the North Korean regime's abuse of human rights and war, it- as the title suggests- contains a great deal of light and marks Elvatorium's shift from murky, nihilistic and dark aesthetics to a new style of focused, in-the-face, bright and vital electronica.
The first demos for this record were written in early 2009. The bulk of this material was however developed throughout 2012 / 2013.
