Info

Eberhard Weber born 22 January 1940, in Stuttgart, Germany is a German double bassist and composer. As a bass player, he is known for his highly distinctive tone and phrasing. Weber's compositions blend chamber jazz, European classical music, minimalism and ambient music, and are regarded as characteristic examples of the ECM Records sound. Weber began recording in the early 1960s, and released The Colours of Chloë ECM 1042, his first record under his own name, in 1973. In addition to his career. To favorites 1 Download album. Eberhard Weber - Visible Thoughts. Fluid Rustle is an album by German bassist and composer Eberhard Weber and was recorded in 1979. Weber is one of my favorite jazz artists and there is some beautiful music on this CD. I still love the introspective chamber jazz he made on ECM in the 1970s. This is probably not his best album, but it is still worth owning if you appreciate Yellow Fields and The Colours of Chloe. Fluid Rustle features some great musicians: Bill Frisell guitar, Gary Burton vibesmarimba, and singers Norma Winstone and Bonnie Herman. There is no drummer. The music is melodic and gentle. Today's Rediscovery, after a bit of a hiatus, looks at an album by Eberhard Weber that is of particularly significance in the German bassist's discography. Fluid Rustle, released by ECM Records in 1979, was, in fact, one of many anomalies in Weber's discography for its unusual instrumentation electric guitarbalalaika, vibraphonemarimba, basstarang, voices but beyond that, it stands out as the album that introduced guitarist Bill Frisell to the world. Is Fluid Rustle the best album by Eberhard Weber brings together thousands of 'greatest ever album' charts and calculates an overall ranking. Quiet Departure is among my favourite track, super smooth, heady, captivating, perfect timbre combination. Great record!

THE GREATEST ALBUM OF ALL TIME IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD!!! I'M NOT SELLING IT (NOT BIASED). HAUNTINGLY MELODIC. WEBER'S RUBBERY BASS IMPREGNATES NORMA WINSTONES SUPERFLOUS VOICE. BILL FRISELL NOODLES IN THE BACKGROUND (JUST THE RIGHT TOUCH). AN ALBUM TO MELT OVER. REMINDS ME OF THE GREAT GREAT GARY BURTON LP "RING" DON'T CRITICIZE MY REVIEW IT'S MY OPINION ONLY (I'M NOT SAYING I'M CORRECT). I HAVE PLAYED IT APPROXIMATELY 275 TIMES !!!

I admire your enthusiasm, but I think you meant "mellifluous." "Superflous" isn't a word, and "superfluous" means unnecessary.
