It was released on 18 November 2014 through Parlophone in the United Kingdom, and Columbia Records and Legacy Recordings in the United States. It is the first album to showcase Bowie's entire career and includes a new composition, Sue Or in a Season of Crime, which was later re-recorded for his final album pronounced Blackstar 2016.
